Twins
I always knew i was like my sister, but this is just taking it too far. She gave me TMJ! Ok, so it's not contageous, but I'm still blaming her. Doctor Billy and that compouding pharmacist are both my hero. Who would have thought that rubbing some creamy-gel-type-stuff on my face would make my jaw feel better. When I put it on the spot that hurts though the pain jumps to another spot. I've about decided I just want to lather my hands in the pain reliever and rub it all over my face...or maybe just bathe in it.

Last night I got better sleep than I've had in a long time. Thanks Aaron and Amy for letting me stay at your house. I love sleeping in a big bed (ie. not a twin) in a room all alone. And I also love waking up to my adorable niece yelling "hey" in the next room. She's such a morning person and even though I am far from it, she makes me want to be. Her "I love you" can make anyone melt.

hey! I know I'll see you this evening, but my TMJ has flared up BADLY in the past two days! I first experienced it when I was 18...my first qtr at Tech actually. I couldn't even close my mouth. It's getting to that again, and I had to wear my mouthguard last night, but I've pretty much worn through it. Did you go to the new compounding pharmacist in Ruston? I need to get something like that.

Josiah-a compounding pharmacy is where they actually mix the drugs there. The pharmacist doesn't just count pills.
Brad- It was great to see you last night, I wish I could have stayed longer to visit. I'm afraid I'm going to have to get a mouth guard special made too...but I can't imagine sleeping with something in my mouth. Is it anything like those plastic retainers you get when you get braces taken off?

Yeah, that's exactly what it is, just really smoothed out so your teeth don't "occlude" at night. It really helped me when it was new, but now that i've ground through it it's not as effective. I need a new one.
