Finally, an update
At just over fourteen weeks, mother, baby, and father are all doing well. I heard the baby's heart beat for the first time today...it was very anti-climactic. What is the deal with docotor's offices and their lack of ability to get you in on time. My appointment was at 3:15 and I didn't even get into the back until 5:15. All that wait to spend maybe two minutes with the nurse. Very dissapointing. I had so many questions and didn't even get a chance to ask them.
I haven't had too difficult a time at this whole pregnancy thing. I am really anxious to find out what we are having. We should be able to find out in about 6 weeks (if the little squirt will cooperate.)

I haven't been working this summer. It's nice but it sure can be boring. I am almost ready to start my new job at Geneva Academy teaching Kindergarten. This is going to be a fun year!

Ugh, the waiting room! I generally spend 1-2 hrs sitting out there for maybe 3 minutes of doctor time. In fact, that's where I spent my morning today. It's pretty awful too when you have to watch soap operas or "what's cooking" along with 15 other uncomfortable pregnant women. But, I guess you do what you have to do...

Soap operas and Dr. Phil....high-class and entertaining.
