The Park
This evening after dinner, we decided to head out to the park. A friend of mine told me about a new park she had come across that would be good for a toddler. She was right! Gabriel had a lot of fun swinging and sliding, we were even able to fly a kite. (Waco has the perfect weather for kite flying, it's almost always windy.) I even got the kite up, which I think may be the first time ever for me.
While we were at the park we noticed a sprinkle park and wondered when it would be turned on. A little later we looked over there again and it was going. As it turns out all you have to do is push a button. So we took Gabriel over there, stripped him down to his pull-up and let him go. He had a blast playing with a 4 year old little girl that was there. We really enjoyed watching him go. (I'll post some pictures of it soon.)
We now know what we'll be doing the next few months. These sprinkle parks are all over Waco, and best of all, they're free. I can't wait to go back with friends. I could sit and watch him for hours.

That is such a cool idea!! I wonder if they have any of those kinds of parks up here. By the way, how many times did you have to push the button?? or does it keep going like a censor?

It cycles through the different equipment and lasts about 6 or 7 minutes I guess. Then you can push it again. But when there are older kids around (4+) they take care of it. It's a blast.
