Contracting
Lots of contracting, but no baby yet. I still wonder when people say "you'll know" (if you're in labor). I am not so sure "I'll know." I just don't want to be that lady that shows up at the hospital and then gets sent home disappointed. I also don't want to wait too long and it be too late to get an epidural. Though I guess at this point the only way I'm going to try an un-medicated birth is if it's too late for the epidural. Some friends say it's better without it. We'll see. I'm not quite prepared to say I'm all for it, but I'm not all against it either. I think I would have to start preparing myself earlier in the pregnancy to PLAN for an un-medicated birth. (And no, I am not trying to start a debate.)
36 weeks!!! It's baby time in my book.

Not that I'm speaking from experience in the least because to be blunt I've never had a baby....yet, but I was told at my birthing class that the typical "Hollywood movie" you see them tell the laboring mother that it's "too late" for that epidural. However, my RN stayed that unless the baby is crowning you can get that epidural all the way up until...well I guess you're completely dilated. Don't stress out too much about it...I know you're probably thinking "what is she talking about, we're basically on the same track" but that baby will come when he's ready and since you've had a baby I think "you'll know" when it's time:-)
