Our day so far

It is amazing what can be accomplished when you get up early. We typically sleep until 8:30 or 9 around here, but today since Andrew was starting back to school, we got up at 7:00. After I fed the baby, we all went for a walk around our new neighborhood for about twenty minutes(we've got to work our way up to more than that.) Then we came back and ate breakfast together (also very unusual.) And then Gabriel got to play in the back yard for a while. This has been a nice morning so far. Plus, since we got up two hours earlier than usual, Gabriel will probably take a morning nap again! Imagine all the things I can get done then! Could this be a new lifestyle? Or is it just a fluke?

I can't get over how little Jonah looks compared to Noah! If you put them side by side I wouldn't be surprised if Noah looks at least twice the age of Jonah. So is he only nursing 4 ounces total a day, or is that with each feeding? I nurse on both side for a total of 30 minutes and then he gets a 4oz formula bottle. He'd probably eat more if I let him, but 4 ounces usually does it. And that's with feeding him roughly 5/6 times a day.

Jonah eats about 8 times a day. He nurses for about 25-30 minutes each time. Then, after two or three of those feedings, he gets 2 oz of formula or pumped breast milk.
He is gaining on the lower end of average, at about 4 oz a week. The doctor didn't say to change anything though, so we're sticking with it, and hopefully once he gets a little bigger we'll be able to cut out more of the formula feedings.
