3 Weeks
We've been in Ruston now for a little over three weeks. It's been good. We've really enjoyed our time here so far. Andrew is loving his job and I am loving spending time with Adrienne and her kids. Andrew and I are also really enjoying our time out in the evenings. His parents have told us we can go out any time after the boys are in bed. They've also kept them a few other times as well.
A couple of weekends ago we went to Lafayette for a wedding, without kids! It was such a nice weekend. We were the first of our close college friends to get married, and now, couple number six just got hitched. It was a lot of fun to all be together, and for us not to have kids along (we are the only one with kids...come on guys!)
This past weekend was exciting....we had our first ER trip. Jonah had been a little sick all week with what we thought was allergies and a mysterious low grade fever. On Saturday, when he woke up from his nap around 12:30, we put him in his high chair for lunch. Andrew noticed him shaking, so I went to get him. His hands, feet, and lips were purple. We made a couple of calls to friends in the medical field and the decision was a quick one. We headed to the ER. Poor baby was just lying in my arms and pitiful. After chest x-rays and blood tests he was diagnosed with pneumonia. Andrew and I actually had to leave to go photograph a wedding in Monroe, and we left Jonah at the hospital with Andrew's parents. That was really hard! Before we left though he was already perking up a bit.
It's been two days now and he is doing MUCH better. He actually played and ate real food today. In the midst of it, I think we accidentally weaned him from his bottle (he wasn't supposed to have milk while he was sick.) I'm a little sad about it.
I'll try to post pictures soon. You can check my photoblog, I've posted a few there.

Poor guy! I know that probably scared all of you.....I'm so glad he is feeling better. Give him kisses from his "Aunt from Georgia".

My goodness! What a scary day that was. Thankfully we've been blessed and haven't had to do that yet with Noah. I hope he's doing better now. I'm sure it was really hard on you guys to have to leave him with the parent's, but thankfully they were there to help and stay with him. How is he doing now?
