Wedding Pictures

I just got the first installment of wedding pictures in from one of the four photographers. This photographer gave me two DVD's full of pictures. It took over an hour to just flip through them!
Anyway, here are a few of them.

Lorna

Losing Lorna has been harder than we thought it would be.

I don't know why this is so much harder than losing any other pet. Andrew and I have both lost pets before, but this time is different. The other pets we've lost were at least 10 years old, so in a way we could see it coming. With Lorna it came so suddenly. I didn't even get to see her yesterday. Andrew got up to let her out as usual, and by the time I got up and called for her, she was no where to be found. Neither of us really looked for her. We thought she was just out playing with the other dogs.
Andrew had the hardest job, he had to pick her up off the side of the road and burry her. I couldn't stand to see her, I didn't want to remember her like that. But now I wish I could see her again.
Last night amid the tears we talked about her. It was really like losing a family member. We didn't know how important she was until she was gone. We didn't have any recent pictures of her, she was so big.
I miss her cute little brown curls in her ears. I miss her giving high-five. I miss her licking me. I miss her getting excited and jumping on the bed. I miss calling for her outside and her running home. She really was my baby.

I know this seems a little silly, but this is really hard for both of us.

A loss

It is with great sadness that I announce the death of our beloved Lorna. Andrew received a call from an unknown man saying that Lorna had been hit by a car.
We both shed tears over the loss of such a great friend...a best friend if you will. She was just growing out of her puppihood. She was such a part of our life already. She will be missed.
I am not looking foward to going home to all her toys. Andrew also has to deal with the burrial. This is a very hard time for both of us.

Holiday Catch Up

Christmas was a blast. I lost count with all the celebrations. Christmas with the Booth's was great. Sohpie was adorable. She really was the center of attention.

For new years eve we went to a small party at Kat's Grandparent's lake house. A few fireworks, some games, and lots of relaxing. Overall it was very un-eventful, but it was a great.

First things First

I'm married! The wedding was wonderful. So many friends and family put such hard work into the whole thing. Our parents nearly killed themselves with all the put into it. The reception was great as well. It all went so smoothly and so quickly that it really was like a dream.
Mexico was beautiful. There are so many great stories to tell, but I don't have the energy to tell them now. For now a picture. More to follow.

IT's TOMORROW!!!

I'm getting married tomorrow! And tomorrow is in less than half an hour!
Everything has been great so far. I have had a few good cries...not from nervousness of getting married, just from all the emotional stress of getting things done. The bachelorette party was fun on Thursday, though I was a little drianed. And tonight was the rehersal and the rehersal dinner...both were very nice. Both my parents and Andrew's parents have worked so hard to make everything perfect for us. My Aunt Angie came all the way from Alaska to help, and all Andrew's family from Illinois and his sister from Kentucky are all here to help and to celebrate. All our friends have been amazing as well. Jesse has wowed us with all his help. Tomorrow is it.
Thanks everyone, for all your help, support and prayers. We love you!

The next time I post it will be as Mrs. Andrew Shipp!
