Jonah McCartney Shipp
The Shipp household is getting more manly. Jonah will escape the belly of this whale in late June. (by June 24th is what the doctor says.)
In other news: All of the Shipps are sick. This is not a good time for Andrew considering he still has one final to go. It is also difficult to take care of a sick baby when both parents are down.

It's been a long time coming
I know it's been a while, and I'd love to say that I've just been so busy like my sister, but that would be a lie.
Life here has been typical for the wife of a law student during finals. Andrew comes home for a couple hours of dinner and playing with Gabriel, then he is off again to the law school for studying. His first final is Saturday then he goes through until Friday.
Gabriel is doing well, asside from a giant bump on his head. It hasn't seemed to slow him down though, he is still busy getting into everything that is not a toy. He had his first dentist appointment today just for a check up. I wasn't sure how that would go or how the dentist would manage to get a single finger into his mouth, but I guess that's the dentist's job, so he succeeded.
He also recently went for his one year appointment and shots. They gave my poor baby four shots! And that was without the MMR or the Chickenpox vaccine (he can't get those because I'm pregnant.) I almost cried.
As for me...Though I was beginning to think that I would never have energy again, this week I turned the corner. I am feeling much better and much more energetic (though a nap every other day is still nice!)
I go next week to find out whether baby number two is a puppy or a poodle (as dad said.) I can't wait.
Oh, and one more thing. I am in love all over again...with a duplex. I know, it's pathetic, but Andrew and I were driving around last Sunday after church and we drove through a neighborhood of duplexes. A few of them had signs that said "come in now" and "open house". So we went in. They were the nicest duplexes I have ever seen. They made me hate my appartment and desperately want out. They were new and shiney. They have a yard, a fenced in yard! Three bedrooms, two bath, a real kitchen, a fire place, and a walk in closet in the master bedroom. They even have a real laundry room. Oh how I wish we could move. (I NEVER thought I would say that, especially since I have moved twice in the last year.) There may be a chance though. All we need is one of Andrew's nice law school friends to be interested in sub-letting. That would be nice. That would make me happy.
I'll try to keep all my *faithful readers* updated and I'll try to download my camera some time soon.
