Our day so far
It is amazing what can be accomplished when you get up early. We typically sleep until 8:30 or 9 around here, but today since Andrew was starting back to school, we got up at 7:00. After I fed the baby, we all went for a walk around our new neighborhood for about twenty minutes(we've got to work our way up to more than that.) Then we came back and ate breakfast together (also very unusual.) And then Gabriel got to play in the back yard for a while. This has been a nice morning so far. Plus, since we got up two hours earlier than usual, Gabriel will probably take a morning nap again! Imagine all the things I can get done then! Could this be a new lifestyle? Or is it just a fluke?

We're all in
The move went well. We're all in at the new place but not necessarily settled completely. We still have a few boxes in the office and in the master bedroom, but the rest of the house is unpacked and livable.
The boys both had a doctor's check up this week. Gabriel weighed in at 33 pounds. He is in the 95% on weight and only the 20% on height. He is doing everything he's supposed to be...and looking good doing it:)
Jonah weighed in at 8 lb 15 oz. (I was hoping for 9 lb.) He is only in the 5%, but the doctor wasn't too worried about it. She could tell that he is growing. (He is only getting about 4 oz of formula a day now...yay for breastfeeding!)
They also both got shots. It was sad.
Then today we went for Gabriel's first haircut! It was huge and also very sad. He looks like such a big boy now!

And a few of the little guy.

He's got his Daddy's eyes.

And He's got his Mommy's eyes.

Prayer Request
Our dear friends the Donaldsons are in need of prayer. LeeAnn is 20 weeks pregnant and has had many complications with the baby. The baby has triploidy along with other problems and is not expected to live. LeeAnn went to the hospital last night and was diagnosed with sever toxemia. Her life is in danger and the only thing they can do is deliver the baby. I have not heard any updates in a few hours, but I know that they were planning to deliver the baby. Please pray that the LORD will comfort and uphold the Donaldsons and that they might be able to hold their child (this is something they have been requesting prayer for.) I will post more when I hear something.

A little Hiatus
In a few short minutes my computer will be taken apart. It will get into my car, and drive to my new house. It will then spend a few days on the floor or on a desk in millions of pieces ( a dozen pieces at least.) Then, sometime next week, it will return to it's former state of togetherness, with hopefully some added order, and I will be able to blog again. Things will be better then....
So long for now. I'll be writing to you soon from my new, bigger, mostly wonderful home. (All I have to do is get rid of the fleas and it will be fully wonderful.)

What's for Breakfast?
Amidst all the packing our breakfast routine has gotten a little off. Typically, Gabriel eats a banana and some dry cereal for breakfast, but lately it has been string cheese, or a breakfast bar. This morning when I got him out of his bed the first thing he said was "cheese", which actually comes out sounding like "cheese", so it's an easy one. When we got to the refrigerator he asked for "juice", which sounds similar to his word for "shoes" (it's sort of like "shuice"). Before I could close the door to the fridge, he started clicking his tongue and pointing. Fortunately for us both, I knew what that meant. You see, his word for yogurt is Click. I just really thought it was funny that he was able to tell me exactly what he wanted by clicking his tongue like some African language.
He got what he wanted for breakfast though, "cheese" and click.
Side Note: The move is going pretty well. We have been moving stuff in little by little since Saturday and are unpacking it as we get it there. Our goal is to have everything except the furniture in before Saturday so that Saturday morning we can just load the furniture and be done with it. I still have a lot to do before then though, so we'll see how well that plan works out. Thanks to some good friends at our church though, we have had some help with Gabriel, which makes packing a whole lot easier (since things are not coming out of the boxes faster than I can put them in.)

Gabriel at the Water Park in Waco. This was today.

Jonah at the Water Park. Doesn't he look like he's having fun? He actually wasn't too bad. He slept in the sling most of the time. He was just upset that we were leaving:)

Me and the boys after a fun time at the water park. Sorry, no pictures of Andrew this time.

We're moving!
I don't know if I've mentioned on here that we're moving. Well, we are. And we couldn't be more excited about it. The new place is a duplex just outside of Waco in a town called Hewitt. The neighborhood is infinitely better than where we are now and there are all sorts of other pluses that are wonderful. We will have 1500 sq. ft. instead of the 1050 sq. ft. we have now. Three Bedrooms with big closets, two bathrooms, large living room with a fire place, big kitchen with a side-by-side refrigerator with water and ice in the door and a PANTRY, a dining room big enough for my table and ALL the chairs. There's a big back yard with a covered patio with a mister. There's a two car garage with a decent sized storage room and plenty of space around the edges for bikes and strollers. As I said, we are VERY excited about it. We begin moving in on Monday and plan to sleep there Saturday the 18th. We are also happy to have the time to take loads over several days and we're blessed to have friends to help. Our church family has been very kind to us in offering trucks and help for the move. We've even had people we don't know offer to help. (One guy is letting us use his truck for 4 days while he's out of town!)
The whole family is going to love the new place. I think Gabriel is really going to enjoy the yard and I know I am going to enjoy the space and being able to actually put things away for the first time in a long time.
We'll be in my the 18th and Andrew doesn't start school until the 27th so there will be plenty of time to get settled in. Yay!
I'll post pictures after we're all moved in.

Eee Awww

Jonah finally fits into some of the matching outfits I got for him. Gabriel was so excited about the Donkeys on both outfits. Every few minutes he would go point to Jonah's and say "Eee Aww." Then he would point to the one on him and grin real big. It was very cute. Gabriel didn't even try to throw Jonah off of him this time. Usually he is very eager to get Jonah out of his lap. Baby steps....

Playing with friends and family
Last week Pops came for a short visit.

Then, on Friday night, Steven and Katy came for a visit.

Andrew and Jonah snuggling on Sunday.

This morning our friend Damascus came to play. We all had fun, especially the little boys. They were very entertaining.
