Trick or Treating
We had a blast tonight. Our friend Damascas came over to trick-or-treat with us and the boys had a great time. They were very cute. Gabriel would try to say "trick or treat" but it came it "kick-r-keat". Damascus was so polite, taking one piece of candy, putting it in his bucket, then walking away. Gabriel, on the other hand, grabbed a hand full then went back for more. Little does he know he won't be getting all that candy!

Happy Halloween
These were taken a couple of weeks ago in Ruston. Gabriel had a blast, and Jonah did alright too. We also went to a farm, but I haven't downloaded those pictures yet. I'll get on that.

I took Jonah to the doctor yesterday for his 4 month check up and shots. I decided to wait on the shots though because he's been a bit under the weather. Turns out he either still has or he got another ear infection. He's having another round of antibiotics (a different kind this time.) Hopefully that will make him not so fussy and help him sleep better at night. He's up to 13 lb 3 oz. He's still nursing and getting a bottle. He only nurses a couple of times a day and then a couple times at night. I think we are both a little less stressed about it, and both feeling better as a result.
I'm enjoying the week at home before I leave town again on Saturday. Tomorrow night we're taking Gabriel and a friend's little boy trick-or-treating around our neighborhood. It should be fun. I know they will enjoy dressing up and playing together.
Andrew's got finals coming up. His first one is Saturday. Who has finals on Saturday you ask? Baylor Law. Isn't that just mean? He is very ready for this quarter to be over. We all are. Next quarter should be a lot better.

My Boys
Things around here have not slowed down at all. Andrew is still extremely busy, and I am too. These little boys are keeping me on my toes.
Gabriel has been a hoot lately. Today I tried putting some jeans on him with his cloth diaper and of course they wouldn't snap. I just pulled them up and pulled his shirt down and he got up set. He tried to snap them himself for a few minutes after that. It was so funny.

He has also been having a lot of fun with his stuffed animals. The other day I found him setting up his animals at the little table in his room. He was so proud of himself.

Jonah is doing well too. He has had an ear infection, but seems to be doing much better. He had a few days that he didn't want to nurse and he was holding his ears all the time, but both of those are ok now. He still holds onto his ears a lot, but he isn't acting like he's in pain anymore.
He is by no means chunky, but he has topped 11 pounds now. He doesn't look so sickly and scrawny now. All the grandparents and aunts should be happy now:)

Gabriel has been very sweet with Jonah lately. He calls Jonah "Non". He kind of squeaks when he says it. "NOOOOOOOn"

I am so ready for fall weather that when the temperature drops to the 80's I pull out Gabriel's fall clothes. He is probably miserable, but he looks so cute in long pants (and overalls.)

Weight Gain
Jonah gained over a pound this week! YAY! He actualy gained 1 lb 3 oz, so he's up to 10 lb 14 oz. The doctor was very pleased. She said "I think we've proved our point." She said that now I can slowly reduce the amount of formula that he is getting, but that he should still get at least two bottles a day. SO now I've got to get him from 20 oz. of formula a day down to about 10 oz. a day. It will probably take a couple of weeks, but I am excited that he is getting bigger. His face is much more filled out, and I know that he is doing a lot better now.
What a relief.
I'll post pictures soon.
